Automatic Assembler Arrives
We have now taken delivery of our new automatic division assembler.

Relocation for further expansion
In October 2009 the business successfully relocated to a new 3 acre site in
Ely, Cambridgeshire.
The move has allowed us to treble our Warehouse and office space to help
with the ongoing expansion. Plans have already been passed to build an
additional 10,000 sq ft factory in the near future.

A FITTING ACQUISITION
Cardboard Packaging Supplies Ltd based in Stratford, East London have further strengthened their position as one of the leading internal fitment and assembled division manufacturers in the country by acquiring the goodwill and assets of Alton Box Ltd. As from April 1st 2004 the Stratford office will be handling all new enquiries and orders. Having recently completed the installation of their first automatic assembler and third Roda combi for the specialist cutting of pad and partitions. Michael Barrett (sales Director) said "This takes us a step further in our plans to expand the business over the coming years. This acquisition has allowed us to increase the die cutting side of the business to keep up with demand for the smallest solid board and corrugated divisions and fitments."

FURTHER INVESTMENTS
Due to further investments we are now able to offer assembled divisions to compliment the vast range of internal fitments already being produced.
Recent investments include: 1 x Roda super combi,
2 x rotary division slotters (including A Kirby RDS with airshafts.)
Plus awaiting delivery of our first Automatic Assembler.
Due to the purchase of these three very different machines, we are able to cope with a vast array of cell sizes without the need for extra tooling costs.
We can now offer our customers the added option to supply their own overrun/stock board for conversion into any internal fitment required.
We have also set up a large dedicated assembling department to cope with customer's urgent requirements.

Following on from our recent investment which saw the installation of the first Roda Gandria machine in the country for the conversion of layer pads and fittings.
We have now started the second phase of our expansion program with the successful installation of a further two Roda machines, one of which is exclusively for the conversion of singleface pads cut straight from the reel.
This has allowed us to boost operations in supplying cut to size singleface pads to several industries such as, ceramics, pottery, food and electrical manufactures.
